I have so many emotions concerning birthday's, when it is one of my kids or Grand kids birthday it is a celebration, but when it is mine, it is just another day, one not to celebrated... You are only one day older on your birthday, and you do that every day... There are so many bad Birthday's in my past, that it is usually better if it is not noticed... I know I don't look older on my Birthday than I did the day before or the day after... I think I would rather just have a lot of great days in the Lord...
I pray that this isn't depressing to anyone, it is just how Birthday's affect me...

My friend is always down on her birthday due to the toxic relationship she has with her parents. I feel for her.

Thank you both I have had many people to wish me a happy birthday today... None of my brothers and sisters did, I got a text from my younger sister and she said Mom wants me to pass a birthday wish a long to you... I said thank you and went on with my day... I'm praying for help to not let it hurt... I thank you I had a great day with Ron we went out to lunch at one of my favorite places and then I went and got my nails filled and then this evening we went to Church, it was a good day...
I'm glad you were born. May this next year of living be crowned with the glorious riches of life with Jesus and with knowing you were designed for a purpose and for his glory.

I've had depressing birthdays too, but then the Lord reminded me they are days to celebrate His grace and mercy of granting me this time here on earth. I have a job to do and each day is a gift He's given me to accomplish it. Now, at 48, I proudly celebrate the days He's given me and give Him all the glory and honor.
I pray your day is a special one in a new way!
