Today was a great day in the Lord, it was my day off, and we didn't have any big plans, but Ron and I went to the store I picked up a few things I needed... Then we went out to lunch, it was really nice... We decided to visit another this evening, it is a much larger Church than what we have been going to, we really enjoyed being there and worshipping the Lord, we are going to go back and visit again on Sunday...
This last week in the No Other Gods study, it has really touched me and shown me that I have put people as Idols and I have tried to force things that I have no control over, this study has helped me so much recognize these things so that I can start letting them go, I feel a lot lighter... Well lighter in my heart, on the out side I still need to be a lot lighter...

I may have missed a post but didn't know you all were looking for a different church. I remember you saying you help/helped with the youth at church.

It's a quick leap from admiration to idol worship. I've struggled with it myself, especially as it pertains to popular Christian artists (teachers, speakers, writers, musicians, etc.). This study sounds like a good one. I'll have to get the book down the road. I've got several stacked up as it is.
