My week, My Thoughts, My Reflections...

Well my youngest daughter Candice just finished her first year of High School, wow I can't believe it... She only has 3 years to go and then she will be out in the world, she has said she wants to be a cook and a Vet tech... I pray that she will follow through with her goals... My baby gets on a plain in 9 days and fly's to Utah, if we don't sell our house before September, her sister is going to in roll in to school there... This Mommy is having a rough time knowing that I may be away from her for a long time...

See to understand Candice is my shadow, she is all ways there and she doesn't like to be away from me... Every night I walk her to her room and tuck her in, I am grateful at her age she still wants me to do that for her... She doesn't and hasn't done many sleep overs in her life because I'm not there to tuck her in...

It is really cute every month when I get my hours for the month, she programs them in her phone so she knows my hours...

I love Candice very much she is my baby...

so I am asking for prayers for her and for me that I can deal with having her so far away...

Ok on to another subject I have been reading "Get Out of That Pit by Beth Moore" I am only in the 3rd chapter and I have learned so much about my self and the things that Satan can and will and does to try and keep me in the pits of life... I am learning the signs, so that I won't slip, and I thank God for being there for me... this is something that she says in this book that has really stayed with me since I read it.. (Beloved, let this sink in deeply: if God allowed you to be thrown into a pit, you weren't picked on; you were picked out. God entrusted that suffering to you because He has faith in you. Live up to it. All the way up.)

All the people that I work with and help every day that are in pits of life and I as well, this is a great thing to know, it makes the hurt more under stand able...

1 Corinthians 15
The Fact of Christ's Resurrection 1Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,
2by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
3For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
6After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep;
7then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles;
8and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.
9For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.
11Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
12Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised;
14and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain.
15Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised [
a]Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised.
16For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised;
17and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless;you are still in your sins.
18Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
19If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.
The Order of Resurrection 20But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.
21For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead.
22For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
23But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming,

I kept reading this after the Pastor read it, what a great promise no matter what Satin try's he can't take our salvation, he can't destroy us he can only lie to us and tell us we are destroyed... This passage gives me so much hope...

In my life there having many times that i have been hurt, that is my body, my feelings among other ways, I mention this because God is a awesome God... Yesterday morning a while after I opened the store, a women asked me if we had the VBS shirts I said what size and I would go see... Well I went in to the stock room and started reading what sizes we had. I found the sizes she wanted and started to pull the box out so that I could reach in to the box when the shelving unit started to fall towards me, I reached up and held it up, I called for help and 2 co-workers heard me and came to help me... What was amazing was that after we got it back up I noticed nothing fell off of the shelve and nothing fell on me... the boxes that were sitting on the shelves are very heavy and the unit was leaning far enough over that only God could of held them on the shelves... and through it all a few of my muscles know that I was holding up the shelve, one co-worker that is super small was like there is no way she could have helped me get it back up, and the one that helped me was totally amazed that I was holding it up... I know why and how I was, God was helping me, and I thank him for the help... Praise the Lord in all he does...

I pray that you all are have having a great weekend...

I saw your comment on Annie's blog and wanted to stop by and say hello.

I lvoe the song Held, we sang it a couple times last fall at Beth Moore's Esther study, believe me - many of us were in tears during the song.

I will write your name on a prayer card and pray for you over the next weeks.

Wow...that quote from Beth's book. I guess it makes me feel good because there is purpose in the HELL of a pit that I am in. I don't know if I should use that word as I know it's nothing like the real Hell but it feels SOOOOO terrible to me right now. Part of me is honored that God would hand pick me to be in this most horrific pit but part of me wonders why because I know I am in this pit partly because of my own actions. I just need my heart healed and I need Him to clearly show me if I'm to continue believing along the lines I thought He was telling me or if it was just me telling myself that.
I'd covet your prayers.
Much pain,
Paula

Connie,
You and your daughter are in my prayers. I pray for God's perfect will and His perfect timing to be evident in each decision you all make.
That's how my daughter and I have always been. It would be terribly hard to be so far away. God knows & He will lead and guide you all every step of the way.
That is such a neat story about the boxes and God's protection.
I'm thankful you weren't hurt.
I love Beth Moore's studies. She has taught me more about having a genuine relationship with the Lord than anyone else in my life.
You hang in there and keep leaning on God's promises. I'm getting a tiny bit better every day about recognizing a lie satan is saying and what God is saying to and about me. The more we know His Word the more we'll recognize when satan comes at us with lies.
Enjoy your day!
Love,
Valerie

Connie,
I am lifting you up in prayer as you will be separated for some time from your daughter. I can see you have a special bond with one another.

I can see how you're passionate about our Lord and learning HIS word. Though the enemy cant take our salvation, like you said, he can try and make us miserable here with his lies and try to steal our hope.

Christ has so many great things in store for us, while the enemy tries to stop them. John 10:10

Praise the Lord for HIS word. I praise HIM for HIS protection. I praise HIM with you that you werent hurt.

Keep on encouraging and spurring others in the faith of our Lord Jesus!

Blessings in Christ--
