Spring Reading Thing Finale

Wow three months have passed, when I made my list I only put 4 books becuase I always have high expectations of my self, and then things happen, and I fail, so 4 books is all I put on my list and they were.

1.Dancing Bones, Patsy Clairmont
2.He Speacks to Me, Priscilla Shirer
3. Get out of that pit, Beth Moore
4. Redeming Love, Francine Rivers

I read all of those plus I added and finish (The Scarlet Thread by Francine Rivers) and (Courting Trouble by Deeanna Gist) and I have started (Breaking Free by Beth Moore), So Katrina says that time's up. And she wants us to give a recap of how things went...

Did you finish all the books you had planned to read? If not, why?Yes I finished them and had time to add others, I am happy that I stuck to it and finished them...Do you think the challenge helped you read more? Or maybe helped you read books you otherwise wouldn't have? Yes totally, I would have found reasons not to read...

What was your favorite book you read this spring? Least favorite? My favorites were all of them, I can't help it, they were all so good. I will say though I finished reading (William Young's The Shack) just before I started this, and I have to say that was my least favorite book I have read in a long time, there were a lot of things about it that just left a bad taste in my mouth. There was some good things about the book, it scares me that people will take the book for Non Fiction, when it is a Fiction...

Did you discover any new authors or genres that you now love? I really like Francine Rivers and Deeanna Gist, I had never read them before...

What did you learn about your reading habits or interests? I found that is easier to find time to read when you leave the TV off at work on my brake...

Are you interested in another "Fall Into Reading" challenge this fall? Yes, I'd love to, I all ready have made a list of books to read this summer...

Job well done! I am so glad that you like Deeanne Gist. I just finished the sequel to Courting Trouble and it was very good.
