I'm So Shocked!!!

Well to start with I wanted you all to know that we have out power back on, but there are still over 100.000 in Kentucky that is still with out power....

Now to the reason i'm so shocked, if you read the post before this one you know that my daughter Ashley's husband asked her last week for a Divorce, well it hit her really bad, well he filled out and printed the divorce papers this last weekend, I told her she needed a agreement from him that he would pay at least 50% of the bills until the house is sold or we move there, so she drew up the papers and had them notarized and took all the papers to the court house to fill them on Tuesday of this week, they put the money's for him to pay as alimony. So they signed them and filed, this morning my daughter got a call from the court telling them that the Judge could see that they had come to agreement, so he signed the Divorce papers and it is final. They said you can come pick up the final papers...

It blows me away, this is part of the reason that this country is having the problems it is having, my daughter never wanted for this to happen. And now she is 1700 miles away from me and I need to be there for her, so please pray that it is Gods plans to get us back there very soon...

You are all in my prayers...
Connie

I was just hopping by to check on you. Girl I am glad you have power. That's always a plus! However, my heart is just sad for your daughter. I can't imagine the helplessness she must feel. I can't even comprehend what you must be going through as her mom. My heart is crying out for you and your family! Prayers are being said and lifted up!!!

Glad you have power. Most of my area has it, I no longer hear the generators running.

So sorry about Ashley. It's hard to believe a divorce can happen so quickly and mainly because 1 party wants it.

I pray the Lord does a mighty work in your lives and sells the house. I pray for Ashley's heart to heal.

I pray that GOD HIMSELF, by the power of the Holy Spirit will be there to comfort your daughter in your place.

This country can no longer be called a "godly nation". Even when we are shocked, we should pray to be discerning and strong in the Spirit as the times grow worse.

The LORD will protect those who put their trust in HIM alone. HE is the only one you can lean on in times of such suffering.

I pray HE is REAL to you and your daughter through this time and always!

Blessings and prayers,
Teri

Oh my! Connie, I wish I could comfort you somehow, but I pray the true Comforter, the Holy Spirit wrap Himself around you and your daughter at this time.

I'm shocked at how fast a divorce can take place in the system. I'm praying for ya'll.

Engrafted by His Grace-

Connie,
I am so sorry that your daughter is having to go through this and that you are so far away. Bless your heart!
Your story reminds me of what some friends of ours are going through.
This young lady...not too much older than my son has a little boy and a baby girl and her husband has been in medical school for years. He's now in residency and a couple of weeks ago he slept with a nurse and told my friend he didn't love her anymore. She was way up north and her mom & dad live here in Oklahoma. They rented a Uhaul and went to get her and the kids. It's just breaking my heart.
I am praying for you, Connie. Praying that God will hold you tight in His arms and that you'll feel His peace and presence.
Love & prayers,
Valerie
